States That May Go Green In 2019

Cannabis legalization is making leaps and bounds approaching 2019. Support for the end of draconian marijuana prohibition is at an all-time high as the love for cannabis continues to grow like a weed. More than half of America already has some form of positive cannabis reform with some states opting for full legalization of this plant despite federal laws. At the end of 2018, 33 states in America have medical cannabis laws in place. Ten states have legalized medical and adult use recreational cannabis along with the nation’s capital Washington, DC.

2019 is setting up to be an epic year for cannabis legalization. A year that could possibly tip the scales for cannabis and help bring an end to decades-old draconian cannabis prohibition. More states are poised to pass positive cannabis reform laws in 2019. Here are states to keep a watchful eye on that might legalize cannabis in 2019.

States to Watch in 2019

States are ditching views of the past to welcome increased health benefits, financial stability, an increase in the job market, and more by supporting positive cannabis reform laws. The U.S. federal government often comes up short with funding for states. This cause the states school system, highway departments, and other municipal services to become defunct and fragile.

Kansas, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Texas are other states to watch closely. If you support cannabis you may want to do even more than watch these states. Pick up your phone and call elected officials and tell them how you feel. Leave messages, send emails, and share facts about cannabis to help educate others.

It wasn’t long ago that cannabis was illegal everywhere in the U.S. In some places, it still is. A single seed can tip the scales of injustice and sway support for a mutual goal in the right direction. Keep piling them seeds on those scales of justice. Before long we will be a United Nation no longer divided by imaginary lines when it comes to a misunderstood plant called cannabis.
