A lot of this depends on whether or not the weed is being purchased legally or if the purchase is taking place on the slowly dwindling black market.
There have been reports that an ounce of cannabis in Colorado that costs you $140 can sell for as much as $2,000 overseas. The reason for this is the lab testing and packaging of the cannabis. These are two aspects regarding cannabis that is unavailable in many places overseas.

In France the average price for an ounce of pot runs around $265 US. Head over to Portugal and an ounce of weed can set you back around $300 US. If you’re visiting the United Kingdom or happen to live there, it’s reported that an ounce costs roughly $256.33 upwards of $343.50.
United States
In the United States of America, you can find ounces as low as $30 a piece or as high as $400 or more each. It all depends on where you go and the market you’re purchasing cannabis in.
Oregon
For example, Oregon currently has one of the cheapest cannabis markets in the United States. An ounce there averages around fifty bucks.
New York
While the United States has low prices on cannabis in states like Oregon head over to New York and you might spend as much as $400 an ounce if you can even find flower.
California
California averages between $200 to $300 an ounce.
Texas
Texas ounces can cost you as much as $400 or more with around town brown still running about $300 an ounce.
Canada
According to surveys, Canadians pay an average of $202.54 upwards of $291 per ounce.
