Uncle Joe, the cannabis community is not biting on you taking a run for president. We also aren’t going to be voting for you. Current support for cannabis legalization is at an all-time high in the United States. Many of the people who created this draconian process are in their final days and no longer in office. There are still a few though. The former vice president for Barack Obama, Joe Biden is one of them. Joe Biden was given the nickname Uncle Joe while he was part of the Obama Administration. It seems Uncle Joe is ready to give a go at possibly running for President. One problem with that is Uncle Joe is one of those people that put our country in the shitshow shape it’s in.
Biden Isn’t What the U.S. Needs
Supporting mass incarceration and harsh drug policies is not the kind of President this country needs. The country needs a president that supports and represents the people. When 62% of Americans openly support cannabis legalization and a political figure with as much power as Joe Biden stands against it, it is evident and clear that he does not support the voice of the people.
It would appear it’s only what he thinks is right for his constituents that he will endorse. This conventional thinking must come to an end. With cannabis legalization and the medical advancements of cannabis on center stage, how can a political figure who hasn’t addressed the issue since 2010 even be considered for such a high-powered position?
The Double Dirty Dealings of Uncle Joe
Pharmaceuticals, tobacco, alcohol, sugar, and many other harmful substances are available in abundance. They are all proven to be responsible for a myriad of health issues. These substances, however, can be legally found in almost every household in the entire nation. A few other items of interest regarding Joe’s political history that you may want to consider as the circus known as election year in the U.S. is just around the corner.
- In 1994 Biden was a primary facilitator of the 1994 Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act which led to the U.S. having the highest incarceration rate of citizens in the entire world.
- In 1996 Joe Biden supported a massive propaganda campaign. This campaign was focused on the American people. It was one in which would negatively affect many for years to come. Directly after the legalization of medical cannabis in California, Biden led this campaign which ultimately says no matter what comes to light about cannabis the drug czar is required by law to lie about it as it is a scheduled one substance. Remember when it comes time to elect our “leader” it’s important to pay attention to their political history and where their values lie. Unfortunately for many, they are not in it to represent the people but rather to further their own private agendas.
